We build long-term value for the benefit of individuals, society and businesses. We never pursue purely financial success at any cost. A prerequisite for the long-term success of our business is that we can be trusted every day. We respect all our stakeholders—from customers to owners and employees.
YIT’s Code of Conduct provides clear guidelines on what adhering to our values means in practice. The principles are not intended to be a detailed manual, as we make countless decisions every day that cannot be listed in advance. What matters is understanding what we mean and aim for with our values and vision, so that we can independently resolve situations we encounter in accordance with agreed principles.
The Code of Conduct outlines the principles guiding our operations in relation to customers, employees, owners, business partners, competitors, society and the environment. It also includes information on compliance and on reporting potential violations. The Code of Conduct applies to every YIT employee regardless of their role. Responsibility for a well-built tomorrow is shared by all of us.
